Mono support

Mono 2.10.8 seems to support RaptorDb for small datasets, which is really great.

I wrote a small utility to stress RaptorDb. It runs under .NET fine, but unfortunately, Mono's garbage collector has more trouble as the datasets get larger: crashes and leaks. Switching to SGen doesn't help either. I'd love to file a bug report with a test case, but unfortunately it seems to be "run this high stress code until it crashes."

Thoughts?

Are you running in windows or linux?

How much ram did you test on?

How much through-put did you get?

If it is the GC as you think, I propose posting to the mono team, they would probably love it.

Windows 7 64, 4GB RAM. I'll have to recheck on the throughput. The memory leak crept up into the hundreds of megs within minutes.

Yes a bug filed on the Mono side would be best, but I was just checking to see if you had any thoughts on it.

Check if you are in 64bit mode (32bit mode has a 1.8gb limit). Send me the log of the error. I'm intrigued.
